These pictures are not from a runner's perspective, but from a Ham radio volunteer's perspective. Some of the pictures were taken just to show the layout that has worked, for ease in setting up again in subsequent years.

The next series of pictures is the teardown of the phoneline - Kathryn's umbilical cord to the internet and live updates. It's about 500 ft from the phone junction, and the line had to be run up through the trees and over the coaches into the radio shack.

Taking out the trash

Ken has lots of unclaimed drop bags to take home. If they don't get picked up, they are put in the trash. Let this be a reminder to the runners about the things they've lost.
